Alfa Romeo presents their newest model: The Alfa Romeo Tonale. The Tonale is a small luxury SUV that is priced competitively for the U.S. Market. This attractive Italian is the first Alfa Romeo to be available with an optional plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Sleek and Sporty Style
The Alfa Romeo Tonale fits the bill for young urbanites or those who are young at heart and enjoy Italian luxury in a stylish compact package. The Alfa Romeo Tonale is an ideal match for practically any driver. It blends a prestigious history and offers a look to the future of this iconic brand.
The Tonale begins with the Alfa Romeo "Scudetto" front grille. It offers a glimpse of traditional Italian style. This time, it is decorated with 3+3 LED headlights, created by Marelli. Sophistication is added by stylistic features like the GT Line that runs from the rear to the headlights. It brings to mind the design of the classic Giulia GT Junior and more contemporary cars like the 8C Competizione. The taillights feature the same design as the headlights.
The design carries on to the 20-inch aluminum alloy Grigio five-hole wheels, which remind us of a classic telephone dial.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale will be offered in three different trim levels. It all begins with Sprint, carries on to Ti, and ends with the top-shelf Veloce trim.
Designed with the Driver in Mind

Equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine, 9-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive, the Tonale is ready to go. This package supplies 256-horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
The Plug-in Hybrid Electric Tonale has a turbocharged 1.3-liter inline-4 engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery pack for power. It is connected to a 90-kW electric motor located at the rear axle. It delivers best-in-class 285-horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, as well as 30 miles of pure electric range.
